The  CTA Challenge permits entrants to trade their own strategies via PFGBEST.com's online platform BestDirect™, or through its 24-hour order desk.

During 2003, 2004 and 2005, the grand prize winner of each six-month CTA CHALLENGE received a US $500,000 account allocation to trade (Read the Official Rules). This boosts their assets under management. By being partners to these competitors, PFGBEST.com is able to select, distribute and market the investment choices and opportunities these new CTAs present for retail investors.

In 2006, the contest was expanded. Today, four quarterly contests are offered beginning in March, June, September and December, each resulting in a trading allocation to the winner of $250,000 in the form of a PFGBEST.com managed account. Then, on March 1, the first and second place in each of the contests will participate in a CTA CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWDOWN from March 1 to August 31, and the winner will be given the opportunity to trade a managed account of $1 million for PFGBEST.com.
